Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of Multi Muc.
I don't know about you, but I’m really picky with newsletters. My inbox is full enough (I have 15.000+ unread emails, and my OCD friends need a trigger warning for that red notification), so every added subscription can sometimes feel like clutter.
So first of all, thank you for letting me in.
Maybe the world did not really need another newsletter — but we can all agree that Munich certainly does.
A quick word of introduction about me and what to expect here.
I’m Pauline, all my friends call me Pauli, and because we’re about to become friends now too, I invite you to do the same.

Born and raised in Munich, I had a lovely childhood but also knew the day I graduated: It’s time to go and widen that tiny little Bavarian horizon. And honestly, I never thought I’d be coming back to live here permanently ever again.
The first time I did give that a try was in 2015. I moved from Copenhagen, and in an attempt to get over my love for the Danish food scene, my friend Mimi and I started an Instagram account called Munichfoodist. Remember, it was still the early days of Instagram (writing this makes me feel ANCIENT), and we were one of the very first Munich food accounts. Long story short, we grew a 20k following but both moved to Berlin a year later and left that account to rot.
Ten years later, I am back. Came for family reasons initially and stayed for…sigh…love. After spending quite some energy being unhappy about what Munich has (not) to offer, I’ve decided to take matters into my own hands and be the change I wanna see in this city. If you’re curious: Here’s a bit more on my motivation to create this platform.
So here we are. Munichfoodist has grown up and transitioned into Multi Muc. Every week, I’m on a quest to find the best events, pop-ups, parties, exhibitions, and other happenings—for myself and for all of you. I’ll tease a little bit on Instagram, but the majority of the fun will be here.
Why?
Does anyone still truly enjoy Instagram? It’s still my #1 for finding all of those tips, but I’d like to make the experience calmer for you.
One newsletter, you know where (inbox) and when (Wednesdays) to find it. And if we still crave a hectic 30-second video snippet, we all know where to get that too.
So let’s get this party started…
